History:

Hand/Eye was formed in 1994 by Timothy Renner and his wife Alison. This label grew out of a tape label Timothy ran from 1989-1994.

Dark Holler was formed in 1999 as a sister/parent label to Hand/Eye.

We are artist-run and family owned.

Dark Holler • Hand/Eye releases are distributed by CTD, LTD. in the US and by ClearSpot International in Europe.

We are the official distributor of Insurrection Records.

We also offer many titles from friendly bands and other independent labels which we thing you will enjoy. See our CATALOG section for these items.

Our releases along with handmade items, instruments, collectibles, books, rarities, and ephemera are available from our stores at EBAY and ETSY.

If you are looking for legal downloads of our music, some may be available on iTunes, Rhapsody, and similar sites - but ALL of our titles that are artist-approved for digital distribution are available from Woven Wheat Whispers. (Some of our artists have requested that some or all of their titles be held back from digital distribution. We, of course, always honor this request.)
